He doesn't seem to be reducing the red squirrel population though. I also thought of Owl Moon as I read your post. Recently we had an owl near my office clutching a crow (he seemed to be saving some for dinner!) as the lunch time crowd grew! It made the paper the next day and was the topic of detailed discussion. We heard an owl last night right outside Mickey's den window while we were there visiting. And, of course, I hear them around here frequently. How fun! You definitely need to figure out what the big bird is! A stork of some kind, maybe? There is an owl that sits in a tree near David's mom's house in PA. I keep trying to figure out how to get close enough to find pellets but it is in the midst of a thicket of blackberries - smart owl.DaDaHaZaReJehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13675779522166103726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11096572.post-46747004737579956622009-03-19T15:07:00.000+02:002009-03-19T15:07:00.000+02:00Mom, you're just looking forward to the drawings, ...Mom, you're just looking forward to the drawings, not the pellets? ;-)Phyllishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09529794989164847124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11096572.post-16993648167610718142009-03-19T15:03:00.000+02:002009-03-19T15:03:00.000+02:00Love the night walk story...and can visualize each...Love the night walk story...and can visualize each little thing from your description.
