God takes care of the flowers

And He takes care of us!

They were just plain dried flowers, but I sprinkled them with lavender oil, to make them special.

We have a few busy days ahead. Here's for today
"December 16 - Raisins! They are made from grapes, which are a healthy and delicious fruit. Jesus told us how we can produce good fruit. Read: John 15:1-5."
Ilyusha is coming over to play before the youth meeting, so we'll probably include him in this.

And tomorrow
"December 17 - Jesus told a story about seeds that a man planted. Then He explained it, revealing its deep meaning. Read: Matthew 13:3-8 and Matthew 13:18-23."

And Monday
"December 18 -Christmas is just about a week away. And here is an appropriate song. Sing it loudly! The angels also praised God when Jesus was born. Read: Luke 2:8-14."

Had I mentioned that Raia's favorite Christmas carol is "The Wise Man Built His House upon the Rock"?

Raia obviously has excellent taste in Christmas carols!

Phyllis. . . it's so hot here. Our AC is still running. Today was nicer (a breeze) but yesterday I was sweating so much. Are you missing Florida yet? ;-)

Nope, I'm not missing Florida. I love winter! :-)

I'm so glad there was a comment about the bare legs! I go home and put on my sweatshirt, pants, and socks to stay warm inside. My office is so hot that I have to wear summer clothes and then go out in the snow. The heat must be centrally controlled.
Love the pictures and your advent stories.

Yes, we have no control over the heating. Most of our Russian friends think they'll die here, though, because we open windows. :-)
