Tuesday we met up with the Beairds right in the center of Moscow, which gave us a great chance to enjoy the beautiful weather and famous landmarks. When you're with a three-year-old and a one-year-old who cares about St. Basil's and the Kremlin, though?
Here's what fascinated our children:
"Excavator"

The second photo makes me chuckle. Of course they are going to look at the horses! Much love....
Too cute with them looking at the horses!!

I must confess . . . I'd be staring at the excavator and the horses as well . . .
I used to use my 3 year old as an excuse to climb aboard fire trucks, talk to policemen and see their cool cars, and climb inside my brother's semi-truck. Tyler'd be ready to go home and I'd be urging "just a little longer. . . "
;-D
LOL* I'm right there with 'mrs'. Kids keep us young for many reasons!
ps- I was 20 weeks along in the pics on my blog. ;)
tata for now!

Phyllis,
My dd (8) is adopted from Russia and this morning we were talking and she wanted to know if people in Russia have Jesus or "something else." Can you help me answer her? She knows about missionaries. But what do Russians "have" if not Jesus? Who or what?
Laura T. :)
PS. I think she asked because she is concerned about her birthmother and other family being there and not knowing Jesus.
Laura, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I couldn't rush to answer such a serious question. Russia is historically an Orthodox country, and many people here consider themselves Orthodox. Sadly, after all the years of Communism and persecution that doesn't always mean that they know Jesus. And many who don't "have" Orthodoxy "have" atheism. :-( Your daughter's questions show her sweet heart. Please have her pray for Russia!
Thank you for answering! We will pray for Russia and pray for your ministry.
Laura :)
