Then, after church, we had tea and went out caroling, mostly to the babushki who are too old or sick to leave their homes.

Now poor Bogdan has a cold, and he thinks it's going to be the end of him! Obviously, it's not, but please do pray for us. It's not easy to get back to school and regular life without sleep and with a truly miserable baby.

I love that star! What a great idea! We do our caroling in the evening, so we are usually carrying flashlights! LOL!
Jolene, the church's usual star actually has a flashlight in it. We decided not to use it this year, since we just had the children, not the youth, and the stick on that one is really long. The little ones would have injured someone! :-) Plus, we were going out while it's still light.
