I've already sent this photo to a few people, but it's so funny and such a common sight now, that I'm posting it here. Raia sucks her pointer finger; she's decided that Asya needs the next finger.

Thank you to those of you who are praying for Will. He found a place that does AIDS tests really fast, so he'll be heading to Ukraine tonight, which should cut a day off of the length of his trip. Hurrah! Keep praying that everything else will go just as well.

We're doing well here. We woke up to an unusual fall-winter beauty this morning. The birch trees haven't dropped their golden leaves yet, but they were all powdered with snow! We've been talking a lot about seasons lately, so I keep catching Jaan and Raia at the window, arguing:
"Look, it's winter!"
"No, autumn!"
"Winter!"
"Autumn!"
"Winter!"
They're full of plans for skiing and sledding. . . .

Glenna had a strawberry thumb and a blueberry thumb, and she would gladly share one with us.

Adorable picture!

The weather argument at our house is:
It's summer.
It's fall!
It's summer.
It's fall!

At this latitude it is definitely hard to tell the difference between the seasons. It's obvious that summer is over but I want to hold on to autumn as it is my favorite season. I love how caring Raia is with her sister. I'm glad my parents didn't have more after me because I don't think I would have shared my thumb!

What's wrong with this picture? I should be in Kyiv and Will should be in Russia with you all!! :-P We are praying for you as we know clearly the burden of working through a foreign system. God is going before you as He has clearly shown in Will's testimonies beforehand.

I loved the pic of Raia and Asya! They will love the memories you photograph of them as siblings for years to come.

Praying for you Phyllis as you are taking care of home and family without Will. I am in awe of your loyalty and faithfulness to God's service. May God greatly bless you for such!!

Thank you for the updates, Phyllis! You know how concerned we are! Praise the Lord for making the Aids test work out quickly and for letting Will be on his way to Kiev!

And, we are surely blessed with the MOST beautiful children/grandchildren!! How sweet that Raia wants to share! This is also something for which to give praise!! Love and lots of prayers!!

Phyllis! Yeah, I definitely got the bagel idea from visiting you/the sullivans. I didn't quite venture out into the realm of jalopeno/cheese bagels, but they were still really delicious! :)
