Pray for Tanya
By
Phyllis
They did move Tanya and the baby today. We had all gotten our hopes up that it would be better in the hospital, but apparently the situation is much worse there. She can only go feed him every three hours, and she's not allowed to take him to her room at all. The doctors who would do the tests that they want to do are on vacation, and so they want to keep Baby there for quite a while. Pavel said that Tanya is very upset, so he's going to try to get her out of there as fast as possible. There is a visiting room where we can talk to Tanya through a window ("like in a jail"!), so he and I are going over tonight. He said more than anything else, we need to pray for Tanya and that they would let the baby go home.

Oh my goodness, I have been and will continue to pray. What a difficult situation!

Praying....with tears.
Yikes! My prayers continue.
We're praying! (Marylin also says hello and that she's praying...) I'm glad that your computer's up and working, and also that Will, anna and abby seem to have survived Sudogda...where's anna off to next? Is the weather any better?
I had some difficulties in the hospital in Poland when my youngest was born. She was transferred to another hospital *without me* and I had to go home without my baby. In the end, all the tests were negative--there never was anything really wrong--and she was 9 days old when we finally got her home. I never even got to try nursing until she was a week old, and that became a real struggle, which we eventually overcame (2 months later). If your friend wants to talk and commisserate when she finally gets home, send me an email--my heart and prayers are with her family right now.
What a system!
