Walk/Ride for Stephen's Home

Miles for Missions is just a week away now. Some of you are already sponsoring us; thank you so much! It's not too late to join in now, too. Jaan will be riding his bike, and I'll be walking to raise money for Stephen's Home.

Stephen's Home is a wonderful ministry that we've been able to be involved in from the ground up. Even though we ourselves play very minor roles, we love what is getting started there. Young men we know from the orphanage here are finally getting to experience life in a real home and family. The first one lives there now, and we're praying for the next few who will be moving in as soon as possible.

If you want to support Stephen's Home with us, please sponsor our walk/ride on Saturday. Go to this site:
Click "Donate Now" and chose our team: "Hope for Orphans - SH."
THANK YOU!

Christ is Risen!

The next big event after the concert was Easter. We had a really nice celebration. Asya made some pretty gluten free traditional Easter cakes for her friend. We ordered our own from someone we know. Hers just looked so good that we voted about if I would bake as usual or get them from her, and she won the vote. They were at least as good as they looked. We had a lovely breakfast outside and watched the church service from there. (Last year we were home because of quarantine, this year it's because of the fire.) In the afternoon there was a church picnic. Each of our older kids led a group through different activities where they heard about Christ's life, death, and resurrection. Bogdan was in Jaan's group. Then we sat around and ate and talked and the kids played.

Христос Воскрес! (I've really been enjoying this music.)

It was a great concert!

I have a lot of catching up that I want to do. First I'll jump back to the concert that Asya got to be in. It was wonderful! One of the mothers hired a videographer, and we got Asya's part from him. The photos are from him and our friend Pierre and me.
