(Anyone with dial-up is going to be tired of videos. Sorry! I still have one of Jaan to post.)
And this is a completely different subject: it's a small world! A little while ago, we got a call from our friend Ivan's brother. He lives on the other side of Ukraine, but he and his wife were visiting some of her relatives here. So, they came over for tea. It was wonderful to see them! We had worked together in camps, years ago. Then, yesterday, there was a family visiting our church, also from western Ukraine. I thought they looked familiar. They turned out to be Pasha's (our pastor in Kovrov) sister and her husband and baby!

I love the videos. It's nice to share the magic pants so the little sister can walk!
Aunt Lindy
Phyllis, do you remember stories of you, standing in a paper shopping bag, holding the handles thinking they were what supported you?
Love the video!....and love you all even more.
cuteness. And I remember Volodya, though I never met his wife. What fun visits you've had recently! I can't wait until I can drop in on you!!! =-)Anna
Thanks for the videos!! We LOVE seeing what the children are doing!! It's hard to believe Asya is OLD enough to walk!! Thank goodness for magic pants!! Love y'all! Baba Julie
Walking? Oh no she IS NOT!!!
Love the pants!
these are SO GREAT!! oh the singing one is like listening to a little angel ~ so sweet! How did they get to be so big so fast???!!
Please tell Jaan a very heartfelt Happy Birthday from his best bud Caleb. We loved getting to see how he celebrated his special day.. we only wish we could have celebrated together with a trip to the zoo!
We miss the beautiful trees and fall weather - last week it was in the 90's and I'm afraid we were all grumbling a bit about 'wanting to see pretty leaves' :) I can't believe how much I miss birch trees..
I still can't get over how roly-poly Asya is.. I just want to pinch her through the computer screen!! She looks extremely under-fed so make sure and buy the 50% fat smetana for her ;)
you're loved and missed. Thank you so much for your prayers for our family as we've gone through this latest adventure ~ it's meant SO MUCH to know people were praying! have a glorious day as you treasure each moment of an overflowing cup!
blessings,
susan for all
Susan! It's so good to hear from you! I'm right there with you, missing the birch trees and fall colors and you, even if I didn't see you all that often. It was good to be in the same country together. We're still praying for you constantly.
