Happy Valentine's Day!

We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, but we had fun with decorating for this month that includes it and our anniversary. Jaan and Raia don't really even know that today is a holiday. Here's what they made a week or so ago: a display of pictures of some of the people we love, with tons of hearts.

(And happy birthday to Natalie! I always think of you on this day.)

You did do a Valentine's Day!! Are you going to celebrate President's Day tomorrow? It's also Black History Month here. So, there are lots of things to study!! Love y'all!

Well, we did it a while ago, and I didn't mention a holiday, just hearts and people we love and 8 years of marriage. We won't even touch on the others you mentioned yet. We tend to do more church holidays.

Did you celebrate Presentation with us yesterday? :-) I almost laughed when one of the men started his sermon off yesterday with, "The whole Christian world is celebrating the Presentation of Christ today."

Oh, wow! We didn't KNOW about Presentation!! We might have done this! But, Donnie did talk about Christ having the preeminence in all things (Col 1:18 end of verse), coming from Lk 9:48 where he tells his disciples the least shall be the greatest and that made me think of John 3:30 He must increase but I must decrease. So... I guess, in a way, we did!! Love and prayers! Julie

Glenna and Natalie's other friends are calling it "Natalie Day" instead of Valentine's Day. :-D She came to AWANA with baggies of peppermint bark she had made. It was yummy!
