The next big event after the concert was Easter. We had a really nice celebration. Asya made some pretty gluten free traditional Easter cakes for her friend. We ordered our own from someone we know. Hers just looked so good that we voted about if I would bake as usual or get them from her, and she won the vote. They were at least as good as they looked. We had a lovely breakfast outside and watched the church service from there. (Last year we were home because of quarantine, this year it's because of the fire.) In the afternoon there was a church picnic. Each of our older kids led a group through different activities where they heard about Christ's life, death, and resurrection. Bogdan was in Jaan's group. Then we sat around and ate and talked and the kids played.

A joyous and celebratory day: He is risen, indeed! (I think Asya could find a career as a baker/caterer. Her work is beautiful...and I assume, very tasty). Thank you for sharing this special day with us. We love each of you.
Wonderful pictures! What a nice thing that the children are able to celebrate Easter by working w/ other children! And, the picnic, cakes and other festivities sound lovely! He is Risen, Indeed!! Love to you all!!
