Praise the Lord!

My friend has a sweet new baby! I hadn't heard any news when I went to bed last night, so it was the first thing I checked for this morning. Caiden (Jeffovna? ) was born yesterday. She shares a birthday with two other sweet little girls: Katya Korneichuk here and Eliana, the daughter of our friends in Indonesia. My Mom has already seen Caiden and says that she's beautiful! Praise God for the safe arrival of this sweet baby, and please pray for Shannon to recover quickly and well from the c-section.

(By the way, lest anyone take me seriously, I am joking about the middle name. I haven't heard if she has one, so I just made one as if she had been born here.)

Edited to add: look here and here for photos. If you're Russian, be forewarned: the second photo is horribly shocking!

Not in labor, it was a scheduled c-section. Yes, this was a little early. She weighs 6 lbs, 14 ozs, though.

Your mom has seen her already! I'm so glad!

Yes, Bekah called Glenna right away to share the news. We are rejoicing in her safe delivery. I can't wait to meet her!

Yes, they went up to see her when Dad had his chemo. By the way, I might be spelling Caiden wrong here.

I think they're still playing with the spelling. We'll probably find out soon! Even Grandma wasn't sure if it was Caiden or Cayden. It's beautiful, however they spell it!

Smile, it's spelled Caiden Fylliska, you're right. I had been in labor, just not actively progressing because of her breech position...Praise God for her safe delivery, and thanks to all who have prayed for us! You're welcome to check out my blog for more info: withwards.blogspot.com Wish you were here, P! =) Love you!
